Morristown Local is new but growing! It is a way to connect with those who are not on social media or who want to know what's happening in one place. Here's what will be published:
- events that are open to the public
- business sales and specials
- open job positions - paid or volunteer
- garage sales, items for sale, or free
- invitations to volunteer, join, be a part of the community
- lost and found items and pets
- favorite Morristown photos
- your art, short stories, articles, poetry
- accomplishments, transitions, obituaries
- posts about town history
- more
- The event must be open to the public.
- Images must be clear and appropriate for all audiences.
- Submit flyers as PNG or JPG files.
- You are responsible for accuracy. Be sure you have permission from those in the photo to publish.
- Keep posts shorter than 250 words. We reserve the right to edit all posts.
- We do not accept opinion pieces, general letters, or campaign materials. One post announcing candidacy per election (primary and general) is allowed but no further campaigning will be accepted. Announcements of political events are permitted.
- Publication is the 15th and 30th of each month. The deadlines are the 13th and 28th.
