Planned power outage may 7, 2020

National Grid will be taking a brief outage of the Morristown substation tomorrow, Thursday May 7th around 5:30am. The outage should last 15 minutes or less. The Morristown substation will be switched and pick up by an alternate feed to allow for National Grid to relocate an osprey nest that has the potential to cause a pole fire/outage.
 
The Brier Hill substation will be affected as well. However, we are unable to do switching at that location so the outage to those customers will be for approximately two hours, beginning at 6am until 8am.
 
An automated call was sent out to affected customers last night to inform of the outage.
