NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the qualified electors of the MORRISTOWN FIRE DISTRICT in the Town of Morristown and St. Lawrence County, NY, that the Annual Election will be held in the Fire District, at the Fire Hall at 200 Morris Street, Morristown, NY 13664, Tuesday December 7, 2021 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm for the purpose of the election of one (1) Commissioner for a term of one (1) year, commencing January 1, 2022 and expiring on December 31, 2022 and one Commissioner (1) for a term of five (5) years commencing January 1, 2022 and expiring on December 31, 2026.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the candidates for the Fire District office shall have filed their name and address in the signed letter indicating the office sought with the Morristown Fire District Secretary at PO Box 16, Morristown, NY 13664 twenty (20) days prior to the date of election namely November 17, 2021. All persons who have registered with St. Lawrence County on or before November 15, 2021 and have resided in the District for a period of thirty (30) days are eligible to vote for commissioner.
